Twin Cities Professional Photographers Association
TCPPA is an association of professional photographers, dedicated to raising the level of our photography skills through on going education with a commitment to professionalism, and higher business standards.
A History of TCPPA
In 1984, the Twin Cities Professional Photographers Association was founded with a primary goal of educating its members in the craft of professional photography.
We bring in both national and local speakers to cover a range of topics, including lighting techniques, business building, equipment operation, posing, composition, and editing.
Our goal as an association is to provide our members with the tools they need to create timeless images for their clients.

To foster a community of photographers dedicated to continuous learning and excellence in the art of photography. We aim to provide our members with the resources, education, and support needed to elevate their skills and achieve professional success.

TCPPA is part of the PPA Community Network
TCPPA is part of the Community Network with Professional Photographers of America (PPA). PPA is the world’s largest nonprofit photography association organized for professional photographers, by professional photographers, with 34,000 creative members in more than 50 countries. PPA is a partner, advocate and guide for photographers navigating the increasingly complex business of photography. PPA membership is separate from TCPPA local membership.
