Welcome to the New Year! It’s amazing how quickly the weeks and months fly by, which usually means we’re busy. And, busy is good (albeit exhausting).

I’m so excited about the direction TCPPA is headed. We ended 2016 with increased membership over 2015 and with a higher membership we can continue to bring in top notch speakers and offer additional perks. One amazing event we have coming up will take place in June – we will head back out to the Renaissance Festival with exclusive access, but this year there are some new surprises we have in store (AHH!!!), and there will be NO FEE for our members this year! We have some other really cool ideas in discussions as well – we just need the time to structure and organize these projects.

The TCPPA board is down to 7 people this year, which means we will actively be seeking help with projects and coverage at the meetings. We REALLY need our members to lend a hand. This could be as simple as helping to check people in, or a bit more involved with planning the holiday party, for example. Please let us know where you’d like to help and we’ll put you to work. TCPPA is an awesome organization, and getting involved makes it that much better.

We wish you all a happy and prosperous year, but also want to challenge you to step up your game and push yourselves to be more. Set some personal goals for yourself for the year – enter print competition for the first time, declare your candidacy for the CPP program, put together a seminar and start teaching – strive to make yourself the best you can be. TCPPA is here to help!
