Editorial is more than just a buzzword – it’s about tapping into the personal brand of every client, whether they be a senior, a family, or a professional in need of a new headshot. In this class, I will teach you how to start from the end and methodically work your way back to execute every shoot with gorgeous light that tells your client’s story while keeping true to your own photographic style.
I will change the way you think about lighting by walking you through the foundations of light quality and light modifiers, what they do, and how to use them to create killer light for an editorial feel that flatters even those who try to convince you they’re “not photogenic.” And what’s the point of a class if you can’t realistically implement the things you learned? I’ll show you how I approach lighting for every shoot no matter the client or their story, as well as quick tips and tricks that you can work into your shoots immediately.
